We're done. Have to count at least 1 low score on the beam. Just not our day. Beam & Vault have been our best events all year, but not today.

Good for Ellie to stay on beam today after a vicious fall yesterday. A nice performance.

 

Even ETGATOR1 has felt they overscored some teams..like Oklahoma California and lsu...so..just my opinion..I think there is some bias..human nature when it's based on what you personally see..we all see differently..and that's ok..I am disappointed in our performance today..but still proud of our team

 

Ocala, I agree with you. We didn’t stick our landings on vault. Also on bars even though we stuck all our dismounts we didn’t hold the vertical on some of the handstands. In hindsight I’ll Agree with you judges seem to be fair. At least they have multiple judges averaged on each event.

 

Thanks - When you have 6 judges and they throw out the highest and lowest scores, then average the other 4, I think that's about as fair as it's going to get. Florida overachieved this year, IMO. Won the SEC regular season title and will finish 4th in the nation. That's pretty awesome considering our roster.

 

Well I thought it would take a counted fall by each of the three teams to give us a chance and lo and behold uUtah and Cal open up with disastrous starts!

 

Next year we will be stronger..Kayla will be back...and Sloane's sister too..along with our current freshmen that's gained lots of experience...Leeanne and Sloane will be back too..right?

Should be....but in gymnastics you never know who will want to keep grinding. It's a demanding sports on the body and kids can call it a day. Anyone that makes the olympic team I generally assume the odds are low they come back to college. It happens, but a lot of the time that's the career highlight

 

LSU two good routines away from the title. One more fall could make it interesting

 

Yeah, unfortunately..really don't care for that team in any sport..

As I said..proud of our team, however not a very good performance today ( remi ded me of the SEC tournament)...hardly any scores in the 9.9 area..yes, we did it to ourselves...too many mistakes

 

Although I agree with you, was a classy move by their coach to quiet his team down until Wong finished her floor routine.
