Trinity Thomas has been added to the US Senior National Team:

Trinity Thomas on U.S. Team for Pacific Rim Championships - Florida Gators

In her attempt to make the 5 member US Team for Paris 24, she will be participating in the Pacific Rim Championships:

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Trinity Thomas returns to the U.S. Senior National Gymnastics Team after a five-year absence. Thomas is part of the U.S. team for the 2024 Pacific Rim Championships, set for late April in Cali, Colombia.

Sessions 1 & 2 will be televised on ESPN+.

Gainesville Regional session 2 with UF competing will be at 7 PM ET.

The Berkeley Regional will be televised by ESPN+ as well.

Looks a same time scheduling conflict tonight at 7 PM ET with baseball at Missouri. Too bad as I'll only get to watch 1/2 of the baseball game.

The baseball and softball games will be over on Sunday before UF performs again presuming the Gators advance to the regional final tonight.

 

Gainesville Regional Session 1 Advancing Teams:

Utah 197.825 - 2nd best score in regionals so far
Michigan State 197.475

I've seen Utah worse and MSU better so the Gainesville regional final is setting up as a heavy weight slugfest.

UF performs in session 2 in about 20 minutes. The Gators cannot afford another SEC Championships type of performance if they are to advance. The Gainesville Regional is the toughest of the 4 regionals.

UCLA picked a bad time to have an off meet. Insofar as seeding is concerned, UCLA has joined Michigan as the two upsets leading to elimination so far.
