A 2-way NBA contract would pay about $550,000 which is half of an NBA rookie contract. I would think that NIL money would be somewhat less than 550,000. Of course, there are no income taxes in Florida.

We must find a point and leave Clayton at the 2 . If he comes back

Yeah, for all his strengths, ball handling wasn’t one of them. We need a true PG.

Keep Clayton and Aberdeen at the 2. Need a true PG. Pegues or Donaldson for me.
I suspect that Tre Donaldson entered the portal because he thinks Pegues is going to Auburn (or they're pushing him to Auburn). Exceptional HS football player as well like Clayton was. That'd be one tough nosed backcourt.

Yes, as did Castleton and a few other guys over the years. Very valuable way for fringe draftable players to get feedback from pro scouts on what they need to work on to improve draft stock

Nembhard left largely because of White's offense and Gonzaga gave him the opportunity to play at a pace that made him pro-ready. Golden has an offense that not only attracts fans, but players and pro scouts, so he should be able to bring in guys who want to play at pro speed. Not sure how much Clayton can raise his pro stock just by improving his shooting percentage off the dribble. If he can improve his handle, his distribution while limiting turnovers, he could be drafted after next season.

This seems like a "to get feedback on areas of improvement" move more than a genuine test of the NBA waters. And he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Save him getting some absolutely terrible advice, I seem him back in the O&B next season.

I wonder what the restrictions are on who is allowed to declare for the draft. Asking for a friend.

Absolutely! Clayton is not a PG but is a scoring machine. When he is on, he can be devastating and scores almost at will. He is fearless when driving to the rim also. He is a tough competitor and seems to have a great motor. That 3 pointer he made to tie the game vs Colorado State was unbelievable.
I hope and think he returns but not used as a PG.

Are they strong enough to defend the low post?

UF gave a nice NIL package commensurate with my age and skill level.

    $0.00

Anyone hear anything about CTG and WC Jr. being at the Orange and Blue game and post-game fundraiser? I thought I heard that on the radio.
