Though the Trump appointee special counsel took an unnecessary shot at Biden's age today, no charges will be filed. Hur also laid out the differences between the Trump case:

Trump allegedly refused to return classified documents for months and directed other people “to destroy evidence and then to lie about it,” reads Hur’s report. “In contrast, Mr. Biden turned in classified documents to the National Archives and the Department of Justice, consented to the search of multiple locations including his homes, sat for a voluntary interview, and in other ways cooperated with the investigation.”

Special counsel: Biden’s classified document mishandling doesn’t warrant charges

Biden did noy get charged because of his senility
"We conclude that no criminal charges are warranted in this matter," the report states. "We would reach the same conclusion even if the Department of Justice policy did not foreclose criminal charges against a sitting president."

The special counsel also described Biden as "a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

No charges for Biden after Special Counsel probe into improper handling of classified documents

“In his interview with our office, Mr. Biden’s memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended ("if it was 2013 - when did I stop being Vice President?"), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his

“He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died. And his memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him.”
Special counsel says Biden has ‘poor memory’ and can’t recall when son died

"We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory," Hur wrote in the report. "Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone from whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness."

Did he order his subordinates to move them to that location after they were requested by the FBI unlike another president who did so with boxes of classified documents ending up here?

Basically the one paragraph summary of the entire report is guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty and guilty but it is just not sympathetic to prosecute a senile old man who is unfit to sit at a trial so we won’t recommend the deserved prosecution.

The partisan hatchet man couldn't find anything worthy of charges, so he resorts to character assassination and name calling. He is true MAGA patriot, following in dear leaders path. Now DT will smear him for failing in his duty to bring charges...

Cooperating or not cooperating doesn’t make you more or less guilty it just opens you to obstruction and legally should make zero difference on an indictment. You are not required to ‘cooperate’

Classified leaks happen all the time. Those who fully cooperate rarely get charged unless the leak was egregious and materials fell into the wrong hands. The DOJ is being consistent with Biden when you look at past cases, including Pence.

It can certainly help negate the requisite intent to prove specific intent crimes, but carry on posting things that come to mind...like a flowing stream of consciousness.

@GatorGrowl, does he sound like a confused old man in that 20 minutes?

he has his gaffes and isn't what he used to be and isn't my first choice but he is so far and above that bloviating bag of treacherous wind being offered as an alternative I fail to understand how it is even a race. The clown denigrating john McCain because he got captured, refused to visit Cemetaries in Normandy because that's where the losers were. Winners went home. How can you have any respect for an individual like that?

Please try reading the entire report rather than cherry picking parts that support your position.

I don't mean this as a whataboutism but do you feel the same way about the Trump classified documents case?
