Not just that, the reporter is citing what "twitter users" are saying??? For real?

"... and other Twitter users have speculated the alleged payment could have been a way for Hunter Biden to funnel money to his father."

    BUT TRUMP.
Trump has been and will be investigated. Given how many times we have heard that the law should and does apply to everyone over the last few years don’t you agree Biden should be investigated for wrong doing as well?

Garland appointed a Special Counsel to investigate Biden. And rightfully so.

Can we go back and see how all of those that defended Trump are now condemning Biden?

Just curious did anymore documents turn up today, perhaps at a storage locker in New Jersey or somewhere else Biden may have been in the last 6 years?

Apply this same logic to Trump.

Trump is a lot more complicated. He's owned several businesses through the Trump Org, and we've only had access to his personal tax returns for a few weeks. What we do know? The Trump Organization did lie on its taxes and recently was ordered to pay a fine of $1.6 million.

Doesn't mean Trump himself lied on his taxes and is laundering money. But Trump has also been found guilty of double dipping with his former Trump Foundation charity, which is why he's no longer allowed to run any charity in New York. Again, not an admission of guilt, but a lot more smoke when it comes to Trump, who, with his business ventures has more ability to launder millions than say Biden, who likely has a much simpler tax return.

House Republicans have demanded visitor logs for Biden's home in Wilmington, Delaware (there aren't any by the way). Using the same logic, shouldn't Trump and/or the Secret Service or the management of Mar-a-Lago be required to provide a list of all visitors to the facility since the Donald moved the documents from the White House to his personal version of the Palace of Versailles in Palm Beach along with a list of all employees of Mar-a-Lago that may have had access to those parts of the premises where the documents were stored?

Not the same. Unlike Trump, Biden is cooperating. And, far fewer documents.

Both are being investigated by special counsel. Let the chips fall where they may.

Putting politics aside, the real issue is what the hell are highly elected officials doing mishandling classified information. The Justice Department needs to make a strong stance to prevent this nonsense from happening again. If that leads to Biden resigning and Trump or both going to jail, so be it.

The reason it took six years to investigate Biden is the National Archives, for whatever reason, didn't know the docs were missing. They knew the Trump docs were missing about 2 months after Trump left office. It's a valid question why the Archives didn't know the docs were missing, and we should get to the bottom of this. One potential reason is the docs Biden had were copies of the POTUS Daily briefing, and since the Archives already had the original Obama copies, it never recorded anything missing. But this is just speculation, and if true, a policy that needs to be examined and changed.

It's undoubtedly an embarrassment but it still doesn't come close to intentionally withholding documents and lying about said withholding.

Trump owned two of the most common ways to launder money through a business: casinos and real estate. Strange that he just so happened to pick two very common money laundering businesses to operate huh? Also strange that his name kept popping up in all of the hotbeds of real estate money laundering. Panama, South Florida, Vegas, Central Asia, etc. And that he had such a high number of apartments at his buildings owned by corporations without clear ownership. And that a Russian Mafia figure/funancier built several buildings with him and provided the money needed for construction of these buildings.

But sure, the guy who wrote books, did speeches, and worked for a University would have the same opportunities for money laundering.

makes one wonder if someone (maga fan) that worked at national archives searched to find documents missing from Obama/Biden era and then made a request that Biden search for items that they couldn't find.

it would seem that every document would have an individual log and have to be checked in and out. a proper system would easily flag documents that were not returned

They have been in his possession…. and quite possibly the possession of others …… for 6 years. That is extremely serious. Much like the allegations leveled against Trump, one must wonder ….. who has had access to those files, how many more will be found, and how many have been removed by or sent to other people and will never be found?

It’s likely we’ll never know but it’s possible the “leakage” from Biden’s improper removal of documents will be more damaging than Trump’s improper removal. To argue that it can’t be is simply unreasonable.

As stated above, those documents have been unsecured for 6 years. Who’s had access and how many have been removed by folks like dear old Hunter?
