I also don't think "recruiting nationally" is a negative as long as the overall results in recruiting are what they are now. While it's true that Florida has a disparate amount of football talent, it also has a disparate amount of competition for that talent. I think talent is talent, and as long as we have sustainable systems in place to keep getting SEC caliber kids who are truly committed coming here, I don't care where they're from. The pitch to "stay close to home" I don't think is nearly as persuasive as it was even 10 years ago. It's all scheme, fit, comfort, and what's best for your career I think.
I’d take 1-2 Harvins per cycle. I don’t think there are actually 1-2 Harvins total in the entire nation each year, but I’d take them!
To be more specific, great teams have dynamic playmakers on offense. UF seems to be having trouble grabbing those kinds of studs on offense. We need them.
I think we get Teddy Foster in July. Position: Plan A/Plan B: CB/S: Zay Mincey/none CB: Jamari Howard/none OL: Westphal/Tye Hylton? Edge: Jordan Ross/Jaylen Harvey DL: LJ McCray/Kendall Jackson? Figure it out if J. Smith, D. Stone, C. Odom, or any other high 4* wants in. I do not see another RB or QB in this class. I think we finish strong and hold onto all but 1-2. Average Player ranking will be around 92.5
I’d be really surprised to se 25 hs kids coming in. That’s a ton of kids losing their schollys and the portal would add to that. +1’s are always a take and somebody has to go for that to happen. I doubt we take any reaches at this point as your eliminating kids from the roster with every take from here on out.
We're at 92.25 now Teddy - 87.39 J. Ross - 98.6 LJ - 95.46 Jamari - 95.46 Zay - 94.36 Get all five and we're at 92.7 ... and it's one of the best defensive classes (on paper) in program history. Everyone is happy sans Zilla.
