Run them, like other teams run them against us.

You know, those 20 yard gains.

Those 20 yard gains only seemed to happen on 3rd and 20 and the sticks come out with the ref pointing toward first down by an inch. Honestly I hate to say it but we need to implement the plays of the guy who made us miserable with screens on top of screens every time we had them on the ropes...Jimbo the liar Fischer. Sooo many times he caught us with our hand in the cookie jar it was infuriating.

Ok thanks. I knew it was something like that. Layaway is a composite 5* right? I just thought it odd on the semi-holes the disparity of perception on who were 4 and 3 stars. 247 doesn’t give them much love on this class basically saying they have 13 @ 3*. So just trying to figure out who to believe cause that’s an awful big difference.

Yes, he's just a 4 on 247. Waller and Filsaime are the two that 247 has as 5 stars on the UF page, but Filsaime and Lagway are the two composites.

It’s possible to go back and edit your post so you don’t have to apologize. But I knew what you meant

I want to see plays with both Montrell Johnson and Trevor Etienne in the backfield at the same time... :)

I miss the shovel pass. And while I'm here how about a couple of Emery and Henry plays from time to time?

Shovel pass gave me anxiety, peeking in that Arkansas title game, I never fully recovered.

I’d prefer Big Dez blocking on short yardage.

Thanks Skink. Just been a while since I got a time out so I took a few years off from posting and just watched from the sidelines. Think that was right around our epic coaching search (watching airports and page 187 if I remember right). Good to be back leading up to my Gators coming to me. Although there’s nothing like being in the Swamp I’m looking forward to the game here in SLC. They don’t actually understand what SEC football is out here. I think our guys might have a chip on their shoulders.

So a question I would like to ask. I’ve always just leaned to 247 for recruiting rankings etc because they have a few cool aspects like crystal ball etc but with all the inconsistency between 247 and composite rankings who do you guys tend to lean toward as far as good info as far as rankings etc. I get that it’s all conjecture and I’d rather trust good coaching evaluation over recruiting sites but just wonder what the consensus is? There’s a huge diff between 247 and composite on the Nole class so I’m left not sure what to think.

Another question I would ask and would def like some of Bobby’s input as I’m a big fan of the work he’s put in the last several years but this 24 class is looking to be a really good one but who in this class would you guys say is potentially underrated as far as recruiting sites go or the perception that when you declare for Florida you immediately lose a star.

Most of the people that make those evals don’t actually makes any. They don’t even know who these kids are. Take Mack for instance, one site has him as almost a 5* and two others have him outside of 200. There’s also bias and money involved no doubt. There’s no way so-called profess can be tgat far off if they were actually doing their job to the best of their ability

Boireau is the one whose ranking is off the most. At minimum he should be in the 3-400 range, which is more than half of his current ranking.

As far as the best ranking service to follow, they are all equally flawed and biased to one school or another …or coach, HS etc. That’s why you can’t trust just one.

That’s why I always like the offer list more. If all the top schools are giving offers to a guy outside the top300, that tells you all you need to know.

I might add that it’s almost always an offensive or defensive lineman that develops later in his career for many reasons. First of all, you have to wait for a guy to be capable to play with grown men with pure brute, strength and that may or may not happy.. Secondly, from a young age, we all learned how to play receiver, cornerback, running back in quarterback in every single pick up game we’ve ever played. Offensive and defensive lineman do not really participate in a pick up game. It is a skill that has to be taught later in life by professional coaching.
