Just saw a pre-election clip of Elon Musk saying, "The future of civilization may depend on this election." Now there is a sane, intelligent man. How in the world did he make billions of dollars?

My guess is that God did for Musk what Woody Allen wanted God to do for Woody Allen (as a "clear sign"). God made a large deposit in Musk's name in a Swiss bank. Why? I guess to help Trump save civilization.

The future of democracy and the future of civilization are two different things. I don't recall any Republican or Democrat saying that civilization depended on an election. Until Musk, who I guess is a Republican, or he may just be content to be the power behind the throne (or chairman of the board of billionaires behind the throne).
