All the people name dropped like Franco, Pinochet, Salazar did authoritarianism with a real leftist threat that wasnt imaginary (Allende a socialist won a popular election, the Spanish Republic was real), these guys just made one up, or are just imagining the left as basically, I dunno, Kamala Harris, a capitalist state prosecutor turned senator not a communist agitator with a working class movement behind her threatening an actual change in class dynamics and control of assets. Its hard to discern how real their threat is and how much is bored idiots play acting, latching on to the past to give their dumbass ideas that have no popular backing more weight and menace.

Florida residents should even be more acutely aware as he’s working with Desantis, hell Desantis appointed him to the board of New College (which they want to use as a “model” for other public colleges). Maybe you weren’t aware of this guy, but now you are. So I assume now that you’ve been made aware you think his sick influence should be booted from FL politics?
