Hype building for this kid. Interested to see how Golden handles talented freshman. Also of note, Harry calls Richard a likely starter. Don't think I've really seen that before.
That is surprising. If it's true, then I'm guessing our starting 5, barring injury, will be PG Kyle Lofton, SG Will Richard, SF Kowacie Reeves, PF Alex Fudge, C Colin Castleton. On the other hand, PF might be a tossup between Fudge and Felder. Whatever the case, we're gonna have a pretty darned good second five as well.
I believe that I have stood alone in saying that Riley is the best Gator high school recruit sine Bradley Beal, but I am standing behind it. It will not surprise me if Riley ends up starting at the 2 at some point this season and becomes a one-and-done. A starting lineup of Lofton, Kugel, Reeves, Fudge or Felder, and CC looks to me like one of the best in the country. Behind them should be a heck of a bench. The Gators might well be one of the most underrated teams in the country heading into the coming season. I am excited.
