She also drives slowly in the left lane on the interstate.

There is literally one pressing issue in America now.

You are either pro democracy or pro autocracy. Anyone fighting to keep our form of representative government as is is an ally, like it or not.

I don’t know much about her, but if all she cared about was power, one would think she wouldn’t have taken a stand that basically guaranteed her removal from leadership.

Seriously, can you explain exactly what you thinks makes her “the most unAmerican politician there is”?
    Thanks

I'll answer. She refuses to don the Trump branded kneepads like all the MAGAts do.

Nothing underscores more your complete lack of understanding about what’s going on in America than the first sentence. Sadly, there are many like you - partisans first, patriotic Americans second.

I don’t admire and respect Cheney because she’s anti-Trump. The country is full of such people, including most GOP members of Congress, albeit silently. Rather, I admire her for adhering to her oath of office: essentially, obeying the Constitution and putting country first and partisan politics second.

Unless you honestly believe the election was stolen, your inability to respect Cheney, a fellow conservative, makes you, quite frankly, the worst kind of American.

Has anyone checked her laptop? Or her pool cabana? I mean those are the things we HAVE to know to gauge her as a person and a politician... right?

I respect anyone who puts country over party, even where I disagree with them.

I don’t think you can reasonably argue that is the case. If that were her motive she would be where the power lays in the GOP and that is as a trump supporter.

This much difference () between the parties on war. The only Senator voting against the Ukraine gravy train is resisting because he wants more of those billions going to Taiwan. Disgusting.

Agree. Some examples of high profile politicians who were previously very critical of Trump and have reversed course because they didn't want to risk losing power include Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, and JD Vance (in his case it was more of losing the opportunity to gain power rather than risk losing power) and those are just ones that come immediately to mind there are probably dozens more. If Liz Cheney really cared about power should would have done the same. While she represents a rarity among American politicians she was willing to sacrifice her seat in House based on principle.

Principle? I’d almost forgotten those still exist, they’re so rare.
