Testing was a waste when it comes to Covid. No way to test fast enough and contact trace this particular disease in a way that would have provided any benefit. The cdc has finally realized that testing to test is just dumb. Yet with their recommendations...the United States has dropped the testing requirement for international visitors but still has not dropped the requirement to take the covid shot for international travelers even though we know the drugs do not stop anything at this time with omicron and the subvariants. All while ignoring natural immunity. These people should have been fired yesterday.

I don’t know if the posts in this thread so far are just sarcastic jokes or a celebration of ignorance. Science is never set in stone but is constantly changing as more information becomes available. No one, including the CDC, would say the CDC didn’t make mistakes, but who knows how many lives were saved by following their guidance?
