On Gator Insider, it’s being reported that Golden has hired Carlin Hartman as his associate head coach. Assuming this is confirmed, it is a huge addition to the coaching staff.
Wow. What a staff Golden is putting together. That's what you want to see in a coach imo. Very good early signs for our new coach. Good recruiter as well especially out of TX. In the 22 class was lead recruiter in bringing in Top 100 PF KyeRon Lindsay to UNLV out of TX. Lindsay was also offered by Tennessee, TX Tech, Oklahoma St., TCU, A&M, Xavier, Marquette and UGA. In the 21 class for Oklahoma, was the lead recruiter for Top 100 SG CJ Noland also out of TX. He did play in 33 games this past year, but only averaged 12.6 m/gm. Did score 3.9 ppg and shot 43.6% from 3 going 17-39 on the season.
