I don't see why not. I think we're hands down the best 7 loss team in the country (and it's not even close)! Seriously, though, I thought we have to win 6 to get an invite.
I believe the answer is yes. This young team needs the reps, so if invited, we should definitely accept.
Napier should pay for 20,000 tickets for season ticket holders. That should buy us into a bowl somewhere.
James Madison and Jacksonville St would be first in line if there aren't enough bowl eligible teams, then come the 5-7's.
All joking aside, we are probably the only 5-7 team to have a strength of schedule in the top 4. We have gone toe to toe with multiple top 10 teams with one of the youngest rosters in the country. Too many have lost perspective in this matter.
If staff changes are really being made, not sure why even waste time going to a bowl game. Get on with the offseason and get your plan in place.
Why would anyone want to see another week of this coaching staff? We've got spitters and quitters under their management.
If we went to a bowl game, I’d opt out from watching it, and I suspect a lot of our players would to. We need to rest and get healthy for spring. Bowl game should be an award for a good season.
No there isn't. Over the last 4 years, only 4 5-7 teams made it to a bowl and all of them embarrassed themselves and get this usually against a 6-6 team. Do we want to continue the streak to 6 straight losses which could extended into next season and do what no Gator program has ever done, 10 straight losses because the 1st 4 games next year could do just that.
