You know what is funny about this statement? Many of the drugs you right-wing hate-mongers cut off were meant to address that aspect of gender confusion.

Or maybe the admin that would put kids in cages as a deterrent and wants to use el Salvadoran prisons are actually spinning “prison camps” into “wellness farms”?

There is zero chance the federal government is going to build a bunch of commie organic hippie farms to rehab junkies who would be allowed to come and go voluntarily. That much is 100% certain.

I"d say so, yes. 'Camps' is much more ominous than 'farms.' So they went with that.
But I think the bottom line is whether it's mandatory or voluntary, don't you?

So, he wants the modern day camps, where he will "concentrate" yet another defenseless minority and use them as slave labor? A virtual 21st Century Blechhammer.

    Holy freaking hell.

My one hope is that I live long enough to see the day of reckoning for what MAGAs have unleashed on this country.

The question about mandatory or voluntary would have been a good conversation here. Also, would it be a discipline for criminal conviction would be a good talking point. That's kinda how I see it.

However, when the conversation starts with a lie (camps), then the entire conversation is about the lie.

Hey, if you want to believe the party doing everything they can to undermine access to health care (including mental health care) and that traditionally favors incarceration and brutal tactics with respect to drug users is suddenly going to spend billions to build a bunch of kumbaya organic farms for junkies to “get well” on, that seems insanely gullible to me, but you do you.

I’m all for serious rehab attempts first over incarceration, and perhaps RFK in his mind thinks farms can rehab people. The realty is this $8 Billion will never be budgeted by so called conservatives… unless it’s prison camps, in which case they’ll ask… ONLY $8 billion?

Probably should use “cut-off” in the same sentence with gender confusion.

"Mental illness," is a misnomer. It manifests behaviorally, but its origin is neurology. The brain either over-produces a substance, under-produces a substance, or the brain's chemistry is out of whack. I would be in favor of fewer psychiatrists, and more time and money spent on neurology and neurologists.

So-called psychological conditions are as real as diabetes, and often require pharmacological remedies.

My last question on this. You're ignoring them anyway- I understand why though... lol

If this is such a concern for you (Smdh), why did you make things up to complain about rather than be accurate?

Explain how that is a lie? If you are calling me a liar you should back that up.

Remember, these are the jokers that wanted to repeal ACA. Now have “concepts of a plan”. All those years later. The lie is that there is a plan! Show me evidence of GOP seeking to expand healthcare access… anywhere. All indications are Medicaid is on the chopping block which would especially harm the homeless population we are talking about (I get that people “living on the streets” for years may not have even Medicaid due to complete lack of wherewithal, but plenty of vulnerable and near-homeless” will be tipped to the streets).

The chemical imbalance theory has been thoroughly debunked. Basically, we take a person with age-old struggles and strafe his brain with chemicals. If he begins to feel better we conclude his struggles were a manifestation of a chemical imbalance.

Bonus: the wide prescription of psych meds is probably one reason Americans are father than they were a generation ago.

Yes- your statement- "the party doing everything they can to undermine access to health care" is a lie.

The GOP plan creates Universal Access Programs that expand and reform high- risk pools and reinsurance programs to guarantee that all Americans, regardless of pre-existing conditions or past illnesses, have access to affordable care.

You must know that such an absurd statement requires multiple links, from reputable medical sources.

I guess now Universal Access means universal Healthcare. Is that what you are trying to sell me? The reality of that “plan” by anyone who’s looked at it is 10’s of millions losing access to healthcare. It in no way expands healthcare, maybe makes it cheaper for some and MUCH more expensive for others. There is no other possible result from separating out pre-existing conditions into separate pools. They are using this weasely “Universal Access” language and vague promises of reinsurance to keep “access” to those with pre-existing conditions. But ultimately separating out high risk, makes the high risk more expensive, and for many millions that will mean unaffordable. Ultimately it’s just math.

Kind of funny relying on this GOP weasel language on healthcare to label me a liar, considering your original complaint was camps vs farms.
