Could also be telling where we had that recruit in the pecking order compared to the other school, so it that doesn't necessarily mean much the timing, especially when the coaches have been recruiting the kids for years. Kids also don't always tell the truth but the propaganda their coach wants them to spread. Smart is a master at that.
Smart is a master in general. Best coach we’ve seen in a 15 year period easily. he’s urgent, intense, and a master motivator. Kirby enjoys having everybody giving him their best shot and will not back away from that one bit. He motivated his kids at levels I’ve never seen before. Definitely can compliment others, especially when they are great. Go Gator Basketball. Beat a ranked team and Golden showed great intensity. Bothers me to see teams not performing and coaches not engaged and energetic. And then compliment everything after a loss. That’s a quad one win for golden in his guys today and a ton of credit to him. His kids feel his urgency.

Some teams continue to have assistant coaches remain through signing day to secure commits from kids. A little dishonest but has always been part of the recruiting game
