You just know the Big Boys (Kirby etc.) will be in their ear. It's going to be hard to combat that. I've just accepted it's going to be a crappy recruiting class this year. The only way it holds is if they get a splash hire, but I just don't trust this administration accomplish it.

 

His recent conference difficulties were a direct result of their rival who also had a championship coach and well paid roster. While I see him as highly unlikely to be our coach, I have no doubt he could right the ship at minimum. He also has had no difficulty in cherry picking athletes from the Southeast.

 

I think Jamey Chadwell would be a great hire at UF if Kiffin falls through. I’ve been more impressed with his offenses, than anything Billy Napier had at Louisiana.

I know he’s not the big name UF fans would want, but I think he’s going to be a home run hire. He might end up at SC if Beamer is fired and I’d love to have him.

Napier was fired at Clemson , because his offenses were just not that good.

Speaking of Ohio State, man, it’s really a shame we can’t convince Urban Meyer. To be clear, my guy is Lane Kiffin, but if we had a solid yes from Urban, we’d be tremendously stupid for not jumping all over that. Looking at Urban’s record at OSU…sick. And I know the Big 10 is not the SEC, but still, that shit’s elite.

I’d take kiffen though. Urbs may not have the fired anymore. Kiff clearly does but still has not shown any sign of being at a program a decade plus which is what we are looking for.

 

No. This has been one of the worst stretches for a UF coach in awhile. He deserves no credit. He suffers from analysis paralysis

We do have some talent to build around. He did do some good things. Our players have kept their nose clean and criminality has been low. I don’t hate the guy at all. He’s trying.
