I understand your point, but here's where we actually do disagree. You say pay more, I say "you gotta @#$%&n kidding me!" We've paid through the @#'%$#n nostrils for shit results, and ppl sat "we must pay more!"

In case you missed it, we're paying a particular dude double digit millions of dollars to shit his britches on game day.

We could get better play calling by doing a John Madden tourney, and letting the winner call plays on Saturday.

    More money. Lol!

    Hell wit dat.

To me it gets pretty damn boring to read 20 people saying the exact same thing instead of just using an emoji that they agree/disagree. That's is why they're there after all.
Maybe you just wanted to throw more shade on Kiffin. Congrats. It's funny, I've never had anyone ask me to explain an agree.

As I said , I get it that you and others don't like Kiffin and that's fine. As far as "ethics" goes in college football, that's funny. You think Saban, Smart, Franklin, Fulmer, Bowden, etc etc ran/run ethical programs.

the 4-23 conference record includes the wins against UK and Bama this year. The only other conference wins they have had were in 2022 (UK again and Florida). I am impressed they beat Bama. That is massive. But what about all of the losses? Do I ignore the loss to Georgia State a few weeks ago? So hire a coach because they had one incredible win over 4 seasons?

Upsets happen in college football every year. I dont see over reacting to one or two losses or wins over a short time span vs what is done over the long term. This Vandy team reminds me a little of Norvell FSU last year. Boosted by a portal qb that once gone the team falls apart.

This year has nothing to do with the last three years. He has built a decent team and if he can mak a bowl at Vandy, that’s impressive

Kiffin actually leveraged his time into a HC job at FAU which led him to the ole Miss job. He may not win anything at Ole Miss but he hasnt thrown anything away. Try again.

Mullen is all yours. Enjoying his surly jabs at UF are you.

Spending bad money is not where it’s at. Bama didn’t go to the sunbelt and get a bargain. They went after best available and if he doesn’t get the job done, they will rinse and repeat.

Criticizing Mullen and getting offended at his barbs at uf while doubling down on Kiffin is some impressive mental gymnastics. 9.9/10. What's more, kiffin lost to such a bad coach and program in stoops and Kentucky and followed it up with another. I'd begrudgingly accept him if he was sincere in wanting to coach at Florida but that because I just want to see any form of competence on the sideline.

And that's in no way a defense of Mullen in any way.

Yea that Sasse hire really worked out. Another sweetheart severance package. The guy resigns after only a year and a half as Prez and still gets $1M /yr severance till 2028. The trustees/UF need to do better, much better with the next hire whether it be football coaches, ADs or Presidents. .

Actually, Saban told Joey Freshwater to get out after he went after Saban's daughter.

Only an idiot would have left Bama to go to FAU.

Notice that Sark got the UT job after being Bama's OC!!

That is the kind of job that working as a Bama OC gets you if you do a great job.

But not Kiffen. He got FAU. A suck job but Ole Miss had nothing to lose so they gave Kiffen a chance to move up.

He can coach. He is just a lousy human being which I have told him to his face. And he laughed because he knew it was true!

If Joey freshwater were to come to UF he would screw it up some way.

There is something pathologically wrong with Lame Kitten.

And I have the degrees to know what is wrong but I will not share that online.

He did pretty well while he was here. His wife getting sick was a tough break!

Hopefully, the next ex-Pol will stay a little longer.

We cannot seem to buy a break these days!

What works for Bama, more often than not, doesn't work for us.

How many times must we face plant by following elephant tracks???

Let's start with cheating Charley Pell (God bless him...)--tried to import bamas cheatn ass ways--bc they worked at bama--damn near got the ##"% DP, and worse still, opened the door for Bobby bowden to leap frog passed us for a painful spell.

Then there was Chump. Picked ftom Texas CIW, but originally from the poisoned tree of Saban/bama.

...next, we went MaElweird. Didn't fare much better. Out he went.

Now, it's Billy ball, again from the tainted bama-Saban tree.

    We. Are. Not. Bama.

We are better than those inbred idiots.

We ought to do better, not try to be them.

    Nothing bama works at UF.

    Let's be us.

    Let's be innovative.

Let bama's bakerds hillbillies strive to be smart like us, rather than us, try to out stupid, or out chest, or out whatever (anything but out smart) them.

Gators have a lot of fans that are football specific. They aren't alums or have kids at UF so they dont really care about academic rep and many don't care about other sports, not named football.

Agreed, one great year would be a huge gamble and that's why I wasn't a big fan of a Jedd Fisch hire. Still, what Lea has done at Vandy is damn impressive and I doubt he will be at Vandy long. Somebody will show him the money. I think he is in the $3-4M range. Plus he is a young guy, in his 40s.

Florida taking a coach from vandy! The jokes will write themselves!

On a serious note if he doesn't have any major baggage like Mullen's recruiting, kiffins immaturity and transient history or any significant issues I'd be on board as long as he finishes the season strong. I hear their qb is the spark for everything so I'd be cautious if they just captured the perfect qb that got them over the hump but I haven't looked at their offense or defense as a whole to know what they're about.
