@okeechobee - Florida is now #10 in the composite ranking and Stubbs just flipped from Miami, which could be another spot. And I am hearing there will be more. This may end up being a composite #7 or #8 type ranking. Amazing.
It was his brother who was at Florida, quit and went to UCF. Creed was a high school senior when that happened and he signed with Mississippi State out of Buchholz.
The issue is Napier has landed classes in this range previously and we underperform the ranking. That's why we were in the 50's for a bit. You will still have at least 5 SEC teams that come in with better classes, without it being close. It's just going to be more of the same. Is it a recovery from where we were a month ago? Yes, but it's like losing big on a stock and waiting it out to get back your initial investment. A sigh of relief, but not a reason for jubilation.
That's true. I was just interested to see what others thought about him entering the portal. Answers have been negative so far. We do need to add 2-3 receivers for next year's roster, but would rather see proven talent myself.
I wouldn’t want to waste any time recruiting him. If he calls and asks if he can come, I’d be fine with giving him a roster spot. Anything else can be earned. I’d assume he wants to go somewhere he’ll see the field though and I don’t think that’s here. JMO, I’m sure I’ll be fielding as many phone calls as you will on this matter.
