Losing early made Gator fans delusional. Still can't believe kiffin supporters bought into his trolling tweets all year. He clowned florida all year with his bread crumb tweets. It's pretty satisfying to see him get wrecked today.

This is the Lagway show. DJ Lagway is going to make a lot of good coaches look like fools the next 2+ years. He is a manchild and has the chops to do whatever he wants to out there.

REMINDER: some of us (ahem ahem) were demanding DJ Lagway start from the Miami game on. Note that even after getting trounced by Miami and TAMU, CBN still chose to relegate Lagway to 2nd tier status. It was only when Mertz went down with injury and CBN was forced to start Lagway that he did.

We know what CBN looked like before Lagway took full control and we should never forget it. We weren’t seeing an optical illusion. Lagway is going to be the best QB in the nation next year and CBN will be riding his coattails. That said, I’d be careful not to get too crazy about CBN just yet. There is only so much Lagway can overcome. We still surrendered 464 yards of offense yesterday and Ole Miss out gained us by 120 total yards. We are not going to win consistently doing that and those are just the facts.

If I were an excellent recruiter or a great coach, well, I’ll be doing that instead of posting on the message board. i’m simply a Florida Gator who loves UF, wishes the best for all who come through my alma mater, and prays for the health and safety of our teams every week, while cheering them on and hoping for wins.

Nonetheless, reading this thread from the beginning until the end reminds me of many sessions back in the day of counciling women who suffered from spousal abuse.

One week they would come in saying “he did it again“ and swearing that they would leave him because of his abuse. “He needs to go!”.

The next week they would come in telling me all about how well he treated them, and that he may have turned over a new leaf. They were ecstatic, even though the bruises were still on them from the previous week.

We’re the battered fans, living from week-to-week, lol.

Yeah pay no mind to the number of injuries to the defense and the skeleton crew that is out there. Means nothing. If only florida could be more like Colorado.

Every team has injuries and how do you explain the previous two years of losing? Did we have injuries for Miami? TAMU? Let’s just excuse every loss that’s ever occurred because injuries. LOL, ok.

Yeah that's what I did. Show me where I gave Napier a pass of any sort about Miami or aTm...

I know nuance Is hard for you unless you're shilling for Colorado and the terrific, fantabaluos, amazing job deion is doing over there.

If you can't see the improvement in the defense especially in the face of the number of starters injured then maybe you should just continue to fawn over Colorado over on the Colorado boards for a bit

We are not turning this into a Colorado thread. This thread is about Napier. What variable has changed? DJ Lagway starting games and improving quickly as a freshman. And it’s not like this is a new phenomenon. We’ve seen this story play out at other programs so many times before. They struggled for a long time and then a certain QB steps in and transforms everything. Do you watch college football?

You turned this into a Colorado thread with your excuse making for Colorado's mediocre performances while praising their "sensational" coaching when in actuality their "success" is based on two players and a garbage conference. Do you even watch college football?

Lagway brings a different dynamic no doubt. We are boom or bust now as an offense but we don't exactly sustain drives now either. That will change with more experience from lagway and hopefully a a continuing improvement from the offensive line development.

The defense is clearly the biggest difference in the recent success. You want to solely attribute that to lagway as well which is ridiculous since the offense did the defense no favors against LSU when they couldn't stay on the field or in the 3rd quarter against ole miss. The defense stood up and made plays regardless of the bending. Sacks, turnovers and 3rd/4th down stops is what was missing for the past few years and for some reason those plays are being made now. It ain't all lagway.

The fact that you try soooo hard to discredit any Napier success is unfortunate. Maybe some of Lagway’s success can be attributed to how BN eased him into the role.

It’s ok to admit you’re wrong.

It's the circles and double standards he uses for me. Deion gets credit for bringing in talent but Gator success is because of lagway and therefore no credit to the staff. Injuries mean nothing to performance yet despite several starters being out hasn't hurt the defensive performance so far so what is it? Is it a talented roster with depth that coach built or is it better coaching of the reserves?

Dude has an agenda. I'm fine with that but he doesn't own it.

The facts are your facts, not relevant.. The real important facts are if we hold teams to under 20 we will win consistently. Yardage and TOP are Chump metrics.

He's also bringing up the A&M game like Lagway wasn't awful when he played then. Honestly that game would have been closer had Napier just stuck with Mertz. Oh well though, that poster is either trolling or dumb, or both.
