If they actually won games unlike the Titans, they may be fine. It’s a tough pull though. They don’t care much anyway I don’t guess.
SC never offered, because they couldn’t afford paying him and all his off the field coaches he wanted to bring in. They just paid a boatload of money to get rid of Muschamp.
It's the favorite topic on this board!! What new coach can we hire that might be better than the one we already have! Since we can't talk about winning, I guess that's all we are left with.
Repeating what I have said before..... The EASIEST path forward would be to hire a very good and very competent Offensive Coordinator.....and Billy is told to keep his mitts OFF the Offense! Someone like Todd Monken, currently holding the same position for the Baltimore Ravens. In case you don't remember....Monken was the OC at Georgia when they won TWO National Championships in '21 and '23. I'm not saying something like this would even be possible - based on what I've witnessed the past 10 years. I'm just providing an opinion on what would be the easiest path forward for success.
Easy there Tiger. I know a lot of hardcore Gator fans that never attended UF. They've been bleeding Orange and Blue since before they were born. These folks' criticism is valid; their voices shouldn't be minimized.
That is why I think that he will stay at Ole Miss. Lower expectations and less oversight. They are willing to turn a blind eye to his dalliances!
"It's hard to be humble, when you're a Gator." ....but let's not seek to alienate our own, with friendly fire.
At the time, it wasn’t a bad hire. It just ended up bad. They are all a crapshoot. Will Debour be fired in 2-3 years or will it be a good hire in the end. Bama has never lost to Vandy until he was hired but I wouldn’t fire the guy just yet unless there’s a crystal ball involved.
