I agree but am concerned How much better is it going be next year? I keep hoping there’s someone out there no one is thinking of, in the good way not the espn is ending their Heisman coverage and just mentions in passing we’re hiring Muschamp.
This is a sneaky funny joke, and I think most folks missed it. Perhaps he could hire Taylor Jacobs as his WR coach?
yep man thats my only concern too; you can’t afford to continue with THIS but can’t let that deter you from going out there and getting another HC. My only concern is the mindset of some may be “get someone better than Napier” as oppose to get someone who will get us back to being ELITE. Like I don’t feel that’s Lincoln Riley. If he can field a competent D in two conference, no way he’ll field one here. HC searches are a crap shoot anyways, we’ve just been wrong A LOT recently
Yes lol. Only been out of college 5 years I believe lol. I think his daughter plays volleyball for USC or something like that.
People are wild if they think he is making any sincere not so cryptic tweets about being the coach at Florida while he's actively coaching a playoff contender. There would have to be some serious issues between him and their administration for him to be so disrespectful to his present team and employer. Gator fans are beaten down though so I understand grasping at any hope real or make believe.
I did not, and I thought he was a pervert. If he is going to be our coach, I am going to have to start trying to not think the worst of him right off the bat
Something like that. At some point he will say either: 1. I'm not going to comment on hypothetical offers. 2. I'm focused on winning at Ole Miss as long as they want me. 3. I'm focused on (next opponent). 4. I am not interested in the Florida job. Or all of the above.
well, that’s his daughter, and I can promise you that as a father, my daughter would not want me on campus where she goes to college during her senior year
coaches making less money will listen to florida -- money is too big will be over 8 million per year, with up to 1.5 million in bonuses bases upon wins. This number is probably higher now with the playoffs. I wouldn't doubt if UF went to 10 million per year base. coach gets 7.5 million for assistants and 5 million more for support staff and recruiting personal. (ole miss is 5.3 million and 2.2 million) access to UF aircraft for business and then 70K for personals 16. Clark Lea, Vanderbilt Commodores – $3.05 million 15. Jeff Lebby, Mississippi State Bulldogs – $4.51 million 14. Sam Pittman, Arkansas Razorbacks – $5.25 million 13. Shane Beamer, South Carolina Gamecocks – $6.125 million 12. Hugh Freeze, Auburn Tigers – $6.5 million 11. Mike Elko, Texas A&M Aggies – $7 million 10. Brent Venables, Oklahoma Sooners – $7.25 9. Billy Napier, Florida Gators – $7.5 million 8. Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss Rebels – $8.85 million T-5. Mark Stoops, Kentucky Wildcats – $9 million T-5. Josh Huepel, Tennessee Volunteers – $9 million T-5. Eliah Drinkwitz, Missouri Tigers– $9 million 4. Brian Kelly, LSU Tigers – $9.5 million 3. Steve Sarkisian, Texas Longhorns – $10.3 million 2. Kalen Deboer, Alabama Crimson Tide – $10.875 million 1. Kirby Smart, Georgia Bulldogs – $13 million
