Maybe comparable teams would be a better take. 5 wins against cellar dwellers, a team from fcs and a team doing historically poorly isn't really meaningful in any way at all even a little. Miami is a comparable team.

You say that, but there have been several pages of posts that say the exact opposite. I also know it is reality, but it sucks and I hate the "oh well, it is what it is" mentality. I get nothing is a accomplished by being ticked off on swamp gas and many probably disagree but the pressure needs to stay on. Nah, gator fans as a whole expect much better. Some have more patience than others along with the reality of hiring new coaches, the benefits and the consequences.
Take it from a Purdue grad, we even think Indiana is a crap program. Yes rivalry and all that, but they are objectively worse.
