Brennan Marion and his "GoGo Offense"

I keep getting a picture of a slow moving sloth in my mind everytime another rumor begins!

 

Heard him say we are going to run the two minute offense at all times to create a 5th quarter...someone is going to need to tell Billy this guy is going to want it snapped before the clock gets to 1 second.

 

with the quality of our running backs the last two years and Napier's desire to run first, I have been an advocate of using two together on occasion. With most of our passes going to basically two guys, why not get more touches to your playmakers?

 

Notre Dame was serious about landing a new OC when they hired Mike Denbrock away from LSU. He had a new contract extension on his desk from LSU, 3yrs at $1.8mil. He didn’t sign it though and got an even bigger deal from ND.

But this one is like the Harris smoke because our some of our players and beat writers are following him on Twitter (X).

 

Because they heard the rumor?

 

And this guy’s offense has triple option concepts. The perfect nemesis to Muschamp’s “do you know what a midline is” defense.

 

But Coach O wasn’t followed by our players nor beat writers. Neither is Willy Korn.

 

Well, that is better than popping other things on future coaching hires...

 

That might mean something. Or, as I suspect, maybe that is because the players don't know anymore than we do.

 

Well we did interview Partridge from what I understand so usually some truth the rumors. Don’t know about Coach O, but the others seem to have legs.

 

Having a Partridge in a pear tree tomorrow morning would be nice.

 

There has been no official word that Billy will even hire an OC or give up play calling.

 

This philosophy seems completely antithetical to what Billy wants to do. Is this guy a serious candidate for OC?

 

There won't be official word until there is, so idk why people keep pointing this out. All parties with above FSU level IQ know we are speculating.

 

Has to announce Sale first as there’s not a position available.

 

Or - announce simultaneously?

 

I could be counting wrong but I don't believe we have 10 on-field coaches at the moment. Armstrong could easily take over LBs. Pretty sure we could announce an OC now.

 

45?
