Look I hate the thought that this is where we are, but a two year old article is hardly signs of a trend.

 

Unlike American children choosing to have sex reassignment surgery, those kids in Africa weren’t given a choice regarding their genital mutilation. It’s only in the US that a 7 year old is mature enough to decide they want, no “need”, sex reassignment surgery but aren’t sufficiently mature to enter into a contract, vote, operate a motor vehicle, or buy and consume an alcoholic beverage.
