The guy is definitely underrated… I’ve gone on record saying that. UGA really went after him hard. It happens. When you have an unprecedented flurry of commits over a 9 day period like we did, back in June, you are more than likely going to lose someone, somewhere.

If I'm the #700+ player overall, and I'm looking at the depth and talent already on this young DL, I might consider other "athletic and academic" (AKA NIL$$$) opportunities myself. Does the name Simmons ring any bells? Of course, we could have some developments on the recruiting front (huge OV weekend) that casts new light on this decommitment. Needing to make space at this juncture could definitely be a possibility here too.

I'd have to agree. If he's flipping to Georgia, it's because he is very underrated and we got on him early. Georgia is an elite program that gets to cherry pick kids. If they want him, he's very good.
