BN moving forward...

What's your take? As most of you know I was one among numerous posters who wanted him gone. Thankfully things changed. I believe our record will be 8-5 this season which is indeed a big turnaround.
I am cautiously optimistic. What he and the coaches accomplished in turning our recruitment around is nothing short of remarkable. I am convinced with a winning record moving forward he will have our recruitment in the top seven. I say seven in that I'm not sure we can outbid other teams for top players.
I think he is learning on the job replacing bad coaches for better ones. He has shown he is willing to adapt and that is a positive thing. He has also shown he can find diamonds in the portal.
Now the question for me is can our winning be sustained without a guy like Lag? A top qb can hide a ton of worts just ask sow's hc. Mertz is a good qb but with major limitations that did not translate into lots of wins. Also, I firmly believe our O could be so much better with a talented and proven OC. It's much about good to great.
I think we have turned the corner on D, and with some key D additions I think we won't have to rely on bend but don't break style. I still am convinced championships are won with dominate defenses.
For me, BN is off the hot seat, and now it's up to him to make UF a top contender. The players are all his. I expect us to do better than 8-5 next year.
