You can't possibly believe that Biden is running the show now and even if he does have some input now, he will definitely not be running the show if reelected. Although Democrats will rally around Biden if he's the nominee in 2024 which seems likely a majority of Dems would prefer another candidate. In contrast a majority of Republicans worship Trump, they believe the big lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him, that's he's as pure as the driven snow and that the DOJ has been weaponized against innocent Donnie and that the January 6 rioters despite the testimony of law enforcement officers who were actually attacked by the "political prisoners" and videos of the attack, the vandalism and chants to lynch the sitting Vice President are political prisoners. And who is donating money to a supposed billionaire for his legal defense? Also keep in mind that despite competent alternatives who are running for the nomination an overwhelming majority of Republicans still prefer the indicted loser. A majority of Democrats want alternatives to Biden in 2024 primary — just not the ones already running against him

Majority Dems wants an alternative but will not support any one considering running in any primaries to be put on ballot.
