Black Journalists Grill Kamala Harris: Name Any Policy Change You Would Make On Israel And Gaza

Interviewers at the National Association of Black Journalists on Tuesday repeatedly attempted to get an answer from Kamala Harris about how her policy regarding Israel and Palestine might be different from the current administration. They failed to get any new commitments or even substantive criticism of the current policy.

I recall when the VP job was seen as the perfect way to learn how to be a president. I can't see that she learned a damn thing in 3.5+ years. This is embarrassing. In front of the most friendly audience, she can't answer the questions or at least explain why it's not a good idea for her to answer the questions. This is horrible. Biden would give better answers.

 

I like how she cycles through all of the events of Oct 7th like we had no idea it happened and we needed her to explain to us lots of Israelis died and oh yeah, Americans too! Did you all know that?? Her manner of speaking is so condescending:

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: Stepping back. October 7, 1,200 Israelis were slaughtered -- and actually, some Americans by the way among that number. Young people attending a concert, women were horribly raped. Yes, I have said Israel has a right to defend itself, and we would. And --

TONYA MOSLEY: The reason I ask is the difference between aggression and defense--

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: Let me finish --

 

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: We need to get this deal done, and we need to get it done immediately. That is my position, and that is my policy—we need to get this deal done.

 

Frankly, there are many Democrats that would wipe the floor with her in a debate or a question and answer setting like this. There is an art to not saying anything at all. You have to do it without insulting everyone's collective intelligence. We need to get a deal done? Yeah, no shit, Sherlock. How many times are you going to keep repeating that line?

 

NEIGHBOR: Hey!! Your house is on fire!!

KAMALA HARRIS: We need to call the fire department and we need to do it immediately. That is my position, that is my policy, we need to make that phone call.
