I even saw a 3-man rush early in the game... and knew we were in trouble because our DC was lost... That Miami QB is one of the worst QB in all of college football when a team gets pressure on him, and our DC didn't even know that? He did nothing to pressure him? This was information and an elementary school aged kids knew about Cam Ward...
The more I heard about what was done during the game, the more I feel like the University of Florida football program got conned. There are way too many inexplicable blunders going on...
One of my pet peeves is when podcasters talk over each other. It infuriates me because the last words usually make the statements and gives the most information... often enough to piss me off.
to be fair, the GNFP guys said before the game per the stats/analytics, that Ward’s worst passer ratings came with a 3 man rush last year and full zone (usually disguised coverages) in the back end. He was also worse with 4 man pressures. He consistently beat 5-6 man rushes with a better passer rating. Since we couldn’t get any pressure rushing 4, he chewed us up. But…on the play I think you are referencing when we rushed 3 (it was early in the game) Ward had all day but he had to throw it away cuz no one was open and he had no running lane. I don’t recall us trying that again. So it actually worked. It was his first incompletion of the game.
