Why should we care what the head coach of a team in the basement of the SEC has to say?

 

I didn’t think the basement comment was quite AS bad as when he called that comprehensive defeat a “blessing”. That’s six “blessings” in a row.

I don’t want to pile on, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be canned soon. But I have a feeling it’s more likely than not he’s fired before the end of the season.

 

No doubt he has his work cut out for him. Not only with this team but the goodwill of the fan base as well. Took a match to it.

 

Just want to make sure I am following here....We have 'fans' on here who bash the team 365 days per year and when someone says to them the players see their comments so cool it, the bashers reply 'it does not matter what we say here, the team and the recruits don't even look at what we type' and then they go on with their bashing.

Now we have the head coach agreeing with those that love to bash the team in here and somehow the bashers are still going to take him to task for agreeing with the bashers. Hilarious!!!!

I always thought Napier would be like George in Seinfeld and just keep showing up with a smile waiting to be fired. I didn’t think he would crack like this.

 

Maybe he is trying to get fired… I got the impression that Mullen liked being rich more than coaching football, maybe Napier is the same way.
