I listen to my assistant managers and have meetings, and input sessions and a very open door, but also have the clear cognitive ability to break down that info and ultimately make the decision that is mine and mine alone.at the end of the day. Those people are not my handlers. Mr. Biden is not that man anymore and his state is one that requires actual handlers. 4 years ago he probably was in a different place.
People on the right have ripped Trump to shreds. Romney, McCain etc. but in the end, what matters is what decision the powers that be land on. And anything short of a change makes them the same.
It is just a matter of time. He still has to campaign, give speeches and perform presidential duties. He is going to flub up again on camera and give his detractors more evidence that it's time to step aside. Unless they plan to not allow him to get in front of a camera until after the convention or even election.
The difference being those who dared to " rip Trump to shreds" were banished from the party. Show me a list of dems who were banished from the party for criticizing Biden....
Calling folks you don't agree with "commies" is what we used to call low rent. I'm a progressive and have tried to meet you halfway, but it's proven impossible, which is why I've had you on ignore for ages. That's where you're going again.
All that matters is the results. Being nicer about it changes very little when it comes to what's best for the country. Sadly, that isnt the goal of the two self serving political parties.
In some ways I relate to ole Joe. In my house all 3 kids complain about the thermostat. Two are always hot and one is always cold. But at the end of the day, I pay the electric bill and I will set it on...whatever my wife tells me to. I feel ya Joe.
That false dichotomy bullshit is divisive and adds nothing to the discussion. Disagreeing with someone doesn't make me a " chicom" or an America hating communist. I don't have to worship the orange god in order to love my country.
Why is Biden even relevant ? We know he’s not running the country. Nonetheless, the country is being run, some would suggest into the ground.
No, it’s not the same. Biden had a poor debate performance. He is being publicly and openly challenged by his party with no repercussions to the hose who voice concerns. If he stays in power, those who opposed him will not be blacklisted. Romney is essentially a lame duck now. McCain died, and arguably it was his death that unleashed the full MAGA takeover of the Republican Party. Others who opposed Trump were forced to recant and kiss the ring. Those who didn’t were voted out of office by the electorate and ostracized by their party. Where is the similar GOP backlash for Trump lying in the debate for two hours straight? Zero. Instead they are focused on trying to get the Dems to oust Biden.
That’s what you are assuming, but it doesn’t seem to me that you his is happening. I did see a slight delay in quickness, but does it matter if a decision takes 10 seconds instead of 5? Presidents don’t lead by a lightning round of decisions. This whole thing is overblown. For the record, I’d like to see him step aside because it’s time for him to enjoy the rest of his days in retirement. He’s done enough.
I read an article that stated he has averaged visiting the white hous about half a dozen times over the last two decades. He may be treating Biden for Parkinson’s but it isn’t indicated by the number of visits he has had.
Game changer for who? People aren’t switching sides by who the Democratic candidate is. It’s an election over Trump. The only game changer would be if Trump were replaced. I think the Dems are in a tough spot because if they were going to change candidates, they would have needed to primary Harris. It’s very difficult to just pass her over, but the reality is she’s not their best candidate. Michelle Obama, Gavin Newsome, or someone else would be a stronger candidate.
I get your point. Differing opinions on this topic will create noise. Confidence is 99% of the job for the electorate.
Or this White House releases letter from Biden's doctor after questions about Parkinson's specialist's White House visits
We are dealing with the equivocation king here lol. At least he is consistent as it gets applied to nearly every topic.
I don't necessarily disagree with your larger points here, but let's not pretend that running a small business is in the same league as running an enormous business with tens of thousands of employees, much less the United States of America. So much day-to-day operation on that scale will never remotely warrant a CEO or the POTUS' attention. It will have been 100% delegated to others to operate based on the vision laid out by the top brass. None of that means Biden is cognitively up to the task of doing the job of POTUS, but to think he or any President has been intimately involved in 90% of operations and decisions within the Executive is misguided, IMO. A POTUS needs to set the vision for the future and for their 4-8 years, pick the cabinet and senior leaders that can best enact that vision, and handle major diplomatic responsibilities that require the leader of the nation.
