Funny, I recall a number of posters bashing Kamala Harris because she had an affair with a married Willie Brown even though he had been separated from his wife for over 10 years at the time. Apparently he didn't legally divorced her so that she could remain on his health insurance policy.

Beau Biden Hunters older brother was an outstanding guy. Hunter began screwing when was an adult. Joe Biden tried helping his son. That is what good family man would do. I do believe Papa Joe was too protective of Hunter because of that fatal car accident. Much of Hunter career moves suggest he was always riding the Biden name and connections and not merit. We see this everywhere Jared Kusherner and Avanka had no business holding the positions thy had in the First Trump presidency. Now they milk Saudi Arabia for billions. How do you stop this from happening. It is as old as time

    It gets even worse River.
Apparently Biden also left our astronauts up in space because he didn't want to give Musk/Trump any recognition.

Most, if not all were not critical because he was technically married. They were critical because because she was a young and banging an old man because of his position of power

So you're saying that if Trump had paid porn stars to have sex with him then he would be an ideal family man to right wingers?

That seemed like a pretty unhinged take by Chuck Todd. Anybody who runs for President is highly politically motivated.

Also, drug addiction has a somewhat random aspect to it. It’s true that trying illegal drugs or addictive substances in itself is a moral failing, it nonetheless happens quite often and once the horse has left the barn it is hard to control.

Hunter clearly has a lot of issues. I think blaming them on his dad is simplistic. Also, are parents of adult children supposed to stop their lives because their adult children become addicts?

Maybe Todd knows more than he is letting on, but by itself that rant seems unhinged.

Of course. That’s exactly what I’m saying. Surprised you felt a need to clarify.

    What a ridiculous post

Todd, and others doing the same are just in full fledged damage control. Nothing new has come out regarding Biden since the debate. Yet the same journalists who went out of their way to tell the public that the infirm Joe Biden that we all saw since 2019 was not infirm. In fact he was quite healthy and vigorous, are now saying that they saw the same issues all along.

The only credible response to Todd and the others coming out now should be to make them explain their behavior over the last 6 years before we start listening to them now.

The saddest part is the morons like Todd, not only think they are pulling wool over folk’s eyes, some people are leaning forward to let them.

As someone said above; Politicians should not be idolized, they should be scrutinized.

I can only imagine the rock you have been living under for many years now, but are you honestly going to bring your sorry arse here and act like Trump is not THE most scrutinized politician in US history??? There’s not even a distant second.

    What a ridiculous post?

Glad to see you can still copy your love photos from your Trump Obsession Room under that rock.

Yes, I did. I did that on or around the first few times you posted. I must be honest though, I haven’t paid much attention over the subsequent hundreds of time you post the same images

I think two things are going on here.

    1. While it was obvious there was decline, it probably wasn’t obvious the degree of the decline, as it was being intentionally hidde

    2. Journalists are people, and yes they have biases, which tend to be more left than right, unless you are specifically talking about right wing media. The existence of Trump has really challenged what their role should be. He gets up every day and throws out a fire hose of lies and attacks all of the institutions, including the press. So how is a journalist supposed to balance a fire hose of lies on one side vs more traditional self serving political spinning on the other, especially when your own biases are against the party spewing the fire hose of lies?

What is balanced reporting? Are certain facts to be accepted, or does balanced reporting give equal weighting to “alternative facts”. The whole construct gets blown up.

The result is if you are a left leaning reporter, are you eager to challenge and blow the lid off of Biden’s cognitive decline, when the alternative is somebody who bashes you every day, lies with abandon, and quite clearly has his own mental health and possible age related issues? The media sees one side with its own alternative universe of “facts” much of it is objectively propaganda or disinformation, as a result they are hesitant to feed it more fuel, like speculation of Joe Bidens cognitive state.

So yes, the lack of reporting was a media failure but I think you have to understand the whole context and environment that lead to it.

While I agree with your last statement - I know of nobody who idolized Joe Biden. They dispatched of Biden with little haste when obvious he was unfit (or unelectable). The existence of Joe Biden 2020-2024 was nothing more than a credible and reasonably competent electable alternative to Donald Trump.

Clearly about 1/3 of the country idolizes Trump.

I would take exception to “credible and reasonably competent”. It was more like that he was probably the only high profile Democrat that had not acted magnanimously ridiculous between 2016 and 2019.

Your claim about dispatching Biden is true. But it is not the whole truth and nothing but the truth. They dispatched of Biden only when he was of no use to them anymore, and had proven, beyond any doubt, that the concerns of his cognitive decline expressed by many since 2019 were completely valid. His handlers hid him, limited his access to microphones, and tightly controlled all press engagement.

Concerns of mental decline were denied and attacked ferociously by most major media, including Todd.

Then came the debate, where ALL could see what had been hidden and denied. You’re giving them credit for doing what should have been done years before, but it was their own lies that prevented them from doing it.
