    What’s odd about my statement?

Sure M&A can be bad for consumers, but with in creased efficiency and cost reductions it can be a benefit.

As you note you company is doing 5 did higher borrowing costs slow that (as suggested by others)?

CNBC talks almost every day about how aggressive this DOJ has been regarding “anti-trust” cases. Just going o what the “experts” say.

It’s odd because your criticism assumes a reduction in M&A activity is bad. What is the proper amount of M&A activity? I can tell you it hasn’t been stopped by any means and it’s very far from being a purely beneficial activity.

My company is more cash flush than most any privately owned company out there so borrowing costs are simply not a consideration for what we do. We are offloading some companies as part of the five deals and I do think it has some bearing with the sale deals though I can’t say how much.

The news just boosted it. Truly delusional.

now you can turn amex points int Alaska miles...only problem is all the best redemptions are now getting scooped up. Have some clients from Helsinki, keep threatening to go see their grow operations there. Estonia is supposed to ahve some great architecture. Awfully closed to Moscow..

clients do vertical farming in Finland and commerce bank is paying to export tech on proof of concept in warm weather climates and to get into US markets. no more shipping lettuce from California, grow it in a warehouse in detroit. less waste in spoilage shipping, less carbon footprint when shipping is cut, fresher pick, 5% of the water demand, no pesticide, no fungicides, 1 acre of building = 60 acres of crops yield during peak growing season. building yield is year round. co2 importer as they keep co2 levels higher to accelerate growth. they haven't begun to explore the potential carbon tax credits yet and who knows how those will shake out now

Planning to take the ferry between Helsinki and Tallinn - have heard great things about Tallinn. Not worried about Russia with both Finland and Estonia being NATO members. Biggest concern will be finding food my kids will eat…

mac and cheese seems to be universal, we always had good luck finding nuggets too. Surprised at some of the brands we have found in Europe. Five Guys in Paris, real popular...london too

back to the OP...what is this quackery cabinet and the Musk scorched earth plan going to do to create uncertainty? the one thing the market really, really hates is uncertainty.

think im going to hold financials, oil, and nvidia and pare most of the rest back. let the funny money on pharmeceuticals ride

my horizon is now 7 years, can't afford to give up the gains of the last two years to a quackery cabinet and a scorched earth purge of government employees crashing the economy
