Polls starting to shift toward Biden. These national polls are only so useful with about 5 states really deciding the outcome but it’s better to be ahead than behind. I’d say July is when these will be very telling. Joe Biden leads Donald Trump in eight polls Ipsos and Reuters conducted a poll of 3,356 registered voters between March 7 and 13 that found 39 percent would vote for Biden "if the 2024 election were today," against 38 percent for Trump with 11 percent for "some other candidate." The remainder were either unsure or not voting. Civiqs surveyed 1,324 registered U.S. voters online between March 9 and 12, finding that 45 percent would vote for Biden in an immediate presidential election against 44 percent for Trump. An Emerson College survey of 1,350 registered voters on March 5 and 6 had Trump and Biden tied at 45 percent. However, once undecided voters were asked which candidate they leaned toward, Biden ended up at 51 percent against 49 percent for Trump. A Mainstream Research/Florida Atlantic University survey of 1,053 American adults conducted between March 15 and 17 found that among likely voters, 47 percent would vote for Biden "if the election for president were held today" against 45 percent for Trump. Four percent said they would vote for "another candidate," while four percent said they were "undecided."
At this point who could be undecided? It’s either A, B or another candidate and you still don’t know who you’re voting for? One guy is a former POTUS running for a third time and the other is the current POTUS? What more are you going to learn in the next 5 months about how terrible both of these candidates are to not be undecided?
I don’t know how I would answer if I was polled. I might choose an option like definitely Biden if these two fossils are our choices but seriously can’t we have a choice between to goods instead of the lesser of two evils.
Republicans Who Do Not Regularly Watch Fox Are Less Likely to Back Trump Republicans who get their news from nonconservative mainstream media outlets are less likely to support Donald J. Trump than those who follow conservative outlets. And sizable numbers from the first group say they think Mr. Trump acted criminally, according to a recent New York Times/Siena College poll. This division could affect his standing among Republicans in the general electorate — a decidedly different group from G.O.P. primary voters. That is in line with research that shows that changing the media habits of Fox News consumers may actually change their views. One hundred percent of the Republicans in our poll who said they got their news from Fox News or other conservative sources said they intended to support Mr. Trump in the general election. This stands in contrast to Republicans whose main media sources are outlets like CNN and major news organizations: Seventy-nine percent of them plan to vote for Mr. Trump, and 13 percent said they planned to vote for President Biden.
