Your obvious attempt to compare African American defendants who may have been improperly convicted with the defeated former president completely fails. The chances are that most African-American and other minority defendants were represented by public defenders or court-appointed attorneys with limited resources and large caseloads, Trump had the best representation that money could buy and as far as jurors were concerned his attorneys had the option of striking obviously biased juror through challenges for cause and jurors that appeared to have some sort of bias through peremptory challenges. In the end Trump's attorneys accepted the jury that rendered the guilty verdict.

Build a wall and increase security at the Southern border and undocumented people will find other ways to illegally enter the country. Actually right here in the USA, when we increased border security it had the following effect. Before the tightening we had a circular flow of mostly male workers who mostly went back & forth between mostly Tx & Cali & their home countries. Once tightened we transformed this into permanent illegals of 12 million living in all 50 states. To an economist this is NOT an unintended consequence. Political stunts will waste billions & not solve the problem. Real, thoughtful immigration reform is the ans.
