The DNC should be purged for betraying the citizens of the US.

They own this alone. Biden is selfish or just too stupid to step down.

His handlers should be charged with treason for putting Trump in the WH.

The DNC has handed Trump the presidency. They are complicit.

Not surprised he dissed Kamala and didn’t follow up with an apology. He treats his aides like shite. Kamala is in the same camp with them, in his eyes. The ugliest part of his press conference was when he took a dump on his aides twice. Bad form and indicative of an arrogant old man detached from reality.

After reflecting on this past week during my 50.4 mile ride yesterday (thankfully the humidity was lower than earlier in the week!!), I decided that I want Joe Biden to stay in the race. To replace him as the dem-potus candidate now will simply result in even more mindless nonsense from the left and there is already far too much with JB running for term #2. No need for more. However, I'm still voting for John Fetterman.

Looks like we've come to a point in the US where the potus candidates are mandated to release their tax returns and med lists.

No one is voting for Trump because they dont like Biden’s age. I mean, they aren’t supporting a felon insurrectionist rapist fraudster who vows to use his office to punish people he doesn’t like because Biden is old. Im not. I’d rather vote for a different democrat though.

With this whole assassination attempt, it even makes a Biden reelection less likely. You have Trump pumping his fist with blood on his face while getting shot at vs Biden who can’t string 4 legible words together. Plus for a while it makes it harder to attack Trump.

It did remove the spotlight from Biden - albeit temporarily I’m sure.

He is running out of supporters. I actually am not sure he has a supporter right now. He has a bunch of people like me who dont think he is up to the task but know he is way better than Trump.

Rep. Adam Schiff calls on Biden to drop out of the race | CNN Politics

“While the choice to withdraw from the campaign is President Biden’s alone, I believe it is time for him to pass the torch. And in doing so, secure his legacy of leadership by allowing us to defeat Donald Trump in the upcoming election,” Schiff said in a statement.

Dems stand down on DNC complaints after aggressive pressure campaign (msn.com)

A group of furious House Democrats was prepared to publicly repudiate an effort to nominate Joe Biden before the convention. An aggressive intraparty pressure campaign has convinced those lawmakers to stand down — for now. Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) told POLITICO he is no longer sending his missive to the Democratic National Committee after the party agreed to delay a vote to nominate Biden until at least Aug. 1. The letter urged DNC members against holding a virtual roll call, instead of the customary timing during the convention in Chicago later next month.

While Huffman said the DNC’s move was welcome news “for now,” he and others still had major concerns about the effort to confirm Biden as the nominee virtually, before the convention. “This buys time. There is still time for a course correction,” Huffman said.

As of Wednesday morning, at least 30 House Democrats were planning to sign onto the letter — with at least twice that number privately supportive of the effort but unwilling to go public, Huffman said. But in the last 24 hours, many of those Democrats faced strong pressure from state parties, labor groups and the DNC itself not to sign onto the letter, according to two other people familiar with the conversations.

“No doubt about it, they were trying to twist arms and break legs,” Huffman said about the pressure campaign.

President Joe Biden tests positive for COVID-19 while campaigning in Las Vegas, has 'mild symptoms' (msn.com)

President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 while traveling Wednesday in Las Vegas and is experiencing “mild symptoms” including “general malaise” from the infection, the White House said.

Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden will fly to his home in Delaware, where he will “self-isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time." The news had first been shared by Unidos US President and CEO Janet Murguía, who told guests at the group's convention in Las Vegas that president had sent his regrets and could not appear because he tested positive for the virus.

I think it's going to happen soon. And that's not something I believed until very recently. I'm good with Harris at the top of the ticket. We need youth, energy, and somebody who can go after Trump. (Plus, Trump will then become the old man in the race.)
