I must have missed the part where Biden withheld congressionally approved aid from a country unless they investigated his political opponent.

    Just a horribly dishonest take.

He has been a disaster for the women and children coming to the border.

He was a disaster in Afghanistan. Embarrassing.

Sending 60 billion of borrowed $ to one of the most corrupt countries in the world is a disaster.

His administration discharged thousands of troops for not getting the vaccine.

The worst inflation in 40 years (hard to beat Carter) and the largest decline in real wages since that same Carter administration. Highest gas prices ever. The biggest annual rise in food prices since May of 1979. His administration is a disaster for the low wage earner.

Trump is almost as old and seems crazier than Biden by far.

I used to vote for the libertarian party. Hoping that they would grow up and act like well libertarians. My first vote ever for a democrat for president was Biden. I prefer someone who respects our democracy more than a narcissistic person who lies about the election getting stolen.

But not even remotely as idiotic as the deranged former president.

He did. He was talked into it by Bannon and they make for a weird couple.

The border isn't a Biden issue. It's a border issue. There were thousands of assaults listed under the Trump years as well. And this was after Trump purposely split families apart, which was a humanitarian disaster that ended up with hundreds of kids permanently taken away from their parents.

The Afghanistan withdrawal wasn't perfect, but Biden's hands were tied by the Doha agreement signed by Trump. And in the end, we evacuated over 100,000 people with minimal loss of life and US troops. Could we have done better? Sure. But it wasn't a disaster.

Inflation has been a global issue. Supply chains were broken all over the world due to COVID. The US was middle of the pack when it came to inflation. Part of the issue was maybe too much stimulus monies. But part of the issue were Trump's "easy to win" trade wars which cause additional tariffs and taxes.

What we haven't had since Biden took over? Daily scandals coming from the White House. No shout out to white supremacists, and overall, a return to normalcy in politics.

Now Biden hasn't been a great President. But average without scandals, coming after the sh..show that was his predecessor is more than acceptable. If Trump does win the R nomination again, and it's a choice between normal and sh..show? No contest. I'll take normal all day every day, even if it's less than spectacular.

Biden vs Trump and mental "acuity"?

When Biden tells me to drink bleach to cure acid reflux I will get worried.

When Trump opens his mouth two things come out:
    #1 - LIES
    #2 - More lies.

No debates? Lol... I would pay real money to see John Fetterman debate Joe Biden... the two best Dems in politics. LMFAO! You Democrat voters are a disgrace to the human race.

I kept hoping someone would whisper in Joe’s ear that he righted the ship, returned a big dose of normalcy to the country and thus served his country but that now it was time to go. There are others I would prefer to vote for. However, I would vote for anyone up to and including Pee-Wee Herman before I would vote for trump.

While true, what are the alternatives, Trump? Desantis? Do you think any Biden voter would look at Harris and say meh, I think I’ll go with Trump/Desantis instead. Nikki Haley, that’s conceivable.

It is relevant context. We have 2 choices. I’ll bet most Biden supporters think he is too old, and are not comfortable with Harris and competent, yet by comparison they are orders of magnitude compared to Trump, who is old, incompetent and mentally ill.

I have to concede that I couldn't resist considering that the former president represents such a large target both literally and figuratively. As I've said before while Biden leaves a lot to be desired at least he is willing to accept advice. Trump thinks that he knows everything about everything.
