Great points. Biden should watch out for cholera (Polk) Ted Cruz related assassins (JFK) and balancing budgets (Clinton).

The surely likely Dem candidate goes home to Delaware every weekend, attends Catholic mass and returns to DC to do his job.

The very likely GOP candidate is on trial for rape and hiding hush money payments to a porn star by cooking his business books with possibly many more indictments to come including espionage and sedition charges.

Well said, and I very much agree. I think you should keep fighting for the actions that you truly believe would make a better world. I just also think this fight need not include labeling your intellectual opponents as murderers. I think progress is fastest when contrary opinions are disputed, not demonized.

You mean he goes to mass and desecrates the Eucharist every Sunday--while championing the propriety of killing inconcenient human life, and living his proclaimrd disregard of the sanctity of human life, by enabling--neigh, encouraging--his son, to completely disregard his own flesh n blood (established by paternity judgment).

Joe Biden--and the entire Biden family-'are vile P's OS disgraces to humanity, and even worse disgraces to the church.

    Positively vomitous.

It has been explained ad nauseum, all the Presidents have done it, and goes like this.

Potential questions are generated based on questions asked the press secretary during news briefings. Included are the names of the media outlets and the reporter’s name. If a news agency hasn’t been called upon in a while they reach out to that outlet to find out what information they’re interested in getting. Usually the potential question on the card is not the question the reporter asks, but probably related.

I know the MAGA’s are upset because they want some gotcha questions, or evidence to claim the President isn’t up to the job, like when Dubya was asked if he’d made any mistakes. However this is just how it works.

Wow, did you cut and paste this from the libby talking points for this issue? Too funny. Did the LA Times do this for Trump? You really think the NYT's would give Trump the questions they were going to ask him? I hate trump but this is just a dumb take.

Let's not forget this. Not quite the same but very similar. At one of his first press conferences Trump intentionally did not call on reporters who would be asking tough questions and instead called on reporters who he knew would be serving marshmallows.

Polk was a teetotaler and may have gotten cholera from water. Wikipedia quotes Sam Houston as saying that Polk was "a victim of the use of water as a beverage."

Interestingly enough, Trump and Biden are both teetotalers.

I'm not defending trump at all. He's a piece of crap. But trying to rationalize reporters giving the questions to the president before hand is something I would expect from China. Congrats on playing politics and looking extremely partisan.

I vacationed out of state during COVID in a blue state. People I talked to remember the draconian COVID lockdowns, and they remember how envious they were of Florida's freedom because DeSantis took a bold stand against leftist insanity.

That is why DeSantis is popular. He kept Florida schools open. He put his foot down and resisted mandatory face diapers, mandatory COVID vaccinations, and COVID totalitarianism. Florida fared better than most blue states in death numbers despite schools being open in a state with substantial retirement communities. And now that the precedent is set there will always be the possibility of more draconian lockdowns as long as Democrats are in power. Anyone who knows how the gradual encroachment of government power works knows it is likely that the government will go further during "the next pandemic."

"We have to be ready for the next pandemic." People can see through that. They know what that means.

Well, his likely opponent paid for about 20 abortions he sired in the 80s and 90s because he didn't like to wear condoms.

Biden and the Dems are protecting women's reproductive health. I understand that women are just chattel to you and that this doesn't matter as compared to the status of not-yet-viable clumps of cells.

The "DeSantis kept schools open" meme is funny. I seem to remember my grade schoolers having an unplanned month off from school and then finishing that school year remotely. I also remember the next school year starting with strict social distancing and mask requirements.

With his Ladapo clown, no Florida COVID death numbers can be trusted.

Trump was a liberal democrat in those days.

    He owned his libertine-ism proudly.

Joe Biden pretends to be Catholic, while overlty shitting on clear Catholic teaching.

    It's called hypocrisy.

If he wants to hold himself out as 'pro-*choice* (right to kill babies), have at it. There is an entire political party that proclaims this.

....just stop pretending to be Catholic, stop desecrating the Eucharist...

...and what pray tell, regardless of what your stance is vis a vis Roe v Wade, could his rationale be for denying his grandchild, and rewarding his POS son for doing so??????

    I mean...that is beyond shitty.

Go on...say her name: NAVY JONES ROBERTS

She ain't no tad pole, zygote, appendage... She is indisputably, a real, live, human being. With a name and all.
