As Treasury Secretary she was insultingly wrong to the point of dishonesty. I prefer liar for how she purported herself to be in real life.

By your standard, everything lefties here post based on articles is about things they don't understand or think they can get away with misrepresenting.

Post 6, I disagreed with in post 7. See post 23 for further clarification.

After screwing up the Fox Business interview with Neil Cavuto, see post 1 in Inflation is Transitory! and now with this poorly done interview, Janet Yellen would be well advised to stuff a sock in her mouth for the duration of the election season.

Insultingly wrong is not dishonest. If she were being dishonest she probably would have given a political response and said that yes she’s shocked by the increase in prices (when she really probably hasn’t been on account of being a multi-millionaire).

If you say so, but this reeks of your not taking a few minutes to read the article. Had my say and am moving on.

I read the article. And I agree with your amended take that she’s out of touch. Still don’t agree with that part you made up in the OP about her not thinking prices for groceries have increased since Biden became president. Because she didn’t say that. Good evening.

So Yellen is a liar for being insultingly wrong to the point of dishonesty? What word do you want us to use to describe you when you are insultingly wrong to the point of dishonesty?

As a public figure, Janet Yellen is fair game.

As users of this site, personal insults are not allowed.

    You can figure it out.

She is fair game. And when you post dishonest statements, you are going to get called out.

Is it an insult to say that you are repeatedly and purposefully dishonest?

I think the question for ET is whether he really thought she said prices hadn't risen, or if he just figured it was OK to say it anyway.

He was corrected on it, twice, and still sticks to it. He is either lacking in intelligence, or in moral character. I don't really care which.

What I wrote is an accurate reflection of what she said so I don't mind being called out.
