    From the article:

The Biden administration deliberately buried a final draft version of a study that would have undermined its January 2024 decision to pause approvals for liquefied natural gas (LNG) export projects, according to four Department of Energy (DOE) sources.

Former Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and former President Joe Biden announced the LNG freeze in January 2024, stating that it would remain in place until the DOE could conduct a fresh study of the climate and economic impacts of LNG export growth. The Biden DOE finalized a draft of the study in 2023 and subsequently buried it because the initial version’s findings would have contradicted the administration’s rationale for the LNG freeze, according to four sources inside the Trump DOE granted anonymity by the Daily Caller News Foundation to freely discuss a sensitive matter.

“The Energy Department has learned that former Secretary Granholm and the Biden White House intentionally buried a lot of data and released a skewed study to discredit the benefits of American LNG,” one DOE source told the DCNF. “They were prioritizing their own political ambitions over the interests of the American people, and the administration intentionally deceived the American public to advance an agenda that harmed American energy security, the environment and American lives.”

The US tripled its output, and Biden had earlier approved numerous projects for future expansion.
Once again poster breathlessly tries to insinuate a conspiracy.... when it was simply a pause placed on 4 future projects. https://www.reuters.com/business/en...rt-projects-win-climate-activists-2024-01-26/
"The last review of LNG export projects was in 2018 when export capacity was 4 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd). That capacity has tripled and is set to shoot higher by 2030 with projects under construction."

"one DOE source told the DCNF."

    Well! That seals it!!!

Oh, and what do you know. From a MAGA PR site no less. So credible. Let's etch it in stone now.

Sounds much more like a partisan political claim than it does a reasonable analysis of government energy policy:

I remember Speaker Johnson saying that he asked Biden about this EO on LNG and Biden didn't remember signing it.

Johnson did say that, which means:
Biden had nothing to do with signing or issuing it
    Or
Biden signed it and simply forgot
    Or
    Johnson kinda made it up

Did you read what I wrote? I gave the three possibilities. I clearly don't know.

Yes, Mike Johnson said it and since he has nothing, or no one, to back up his claim then it’s just rumor. Further, I wouldn’t be surprised if Johnson isn’t manufacturing this to support the narrative the MAGA’s are trying to create since he’s one of those types of Christians who believes lying is ok if it helps you reach your goal.

Having said that I don’t believe there was an EO to be signed because this was just a deal to increase the amount of LNG going to Europe, so who knows what Johnson was talking about. He paused the increase but lifted the pause before Trump took office.

Biden didn't do anything... I mean after what the Speaker of the House said about his one on one conversation with Biden. Biden didn't even know that he signed an EO stopping the sale of American LNG to Europe, essentially forcing that entire continent to buy LNG from Russia. That blunder that Biden didn't even know he did cost American business BILLIONS of dollars in lost revenue. Yeah, he was mentally compromised and cognitively impaired to hold that office.

So, someone in his administration buried that study for him, I suspect. Even if we could read it I doubt that he would fully understand it's meaning.
