Again, big assumption that “Democrats” wouldn’t start a civil war. You must have been asleep during the BLM riots. More people were killed during those riots than Jan 6th. Also, there were two Trump supporters killed by leftists after patriot rallies in 2020 alone. Also, must have been asleep during the Covid lockdowns where people were literally arrested for things like going to church, being out after curfew and batshit crazy things like that.

the riots were ugly. but they weren't a civil war. and it wasn't just 'leftists' committing the violence.
but, yes, it is an assumption on my part.

I wonder how gun ownership would come into play wrt which “group” would be more likely to start some sort of civil conflict outside of government and the courts. As I recall, conservatives (pubs) own guns at twice the rate of liberals (dems). Ply, all of the white nationalists/survivalists are already prepared to engage in a civil conflict whereas liberal-crats are seemingly less prepared.

Additionally, liberal strongholds are largely concentrated in major metropolitan areas that rely extensively on public mass transportation making them easier to identify and attack. On the other hand, right-wingers hiding and moving through less populated areas in their 4-wheelers will be more difficult to attack from the large cities.

I wonder how siege warfare would play out in the 21st century?

what if gun ownership is correlated with being a little bitch & from what I've seen it is. it seems your arg falls apart a bit. Plus, why do you think guns would be the superior weapon in such a conflict? this is 2024 after all.

Incels feel compelled to brag about having a “real woman” on an online forum. I’m assuming you were single for a while. A long while.

I've lived in GA for almost 40 years. At heart, it's still very mucha red state. The only time it isn't is when Trump or an idiotic Trump acolyte is on the ballot, like Kelli Loeffler. Herschel Walker got almost 48% of the vote and all he basically did to campaign was run around with a fake sheriff's badge for 3 months making believe he was a police officer. That and apparently either fathering illegitimate children or paying for his baby amas to abort them. And he still got 48%.

Going to be difficult for Biden to win GA this year-more so than in 2020 when COVID was raging again, control of the Senate was on the ballot in the runoffs and Mitch had just shown his true colors by holding confirmation hearings for Barrett AFTER people had started voting. Those facts aren't going to re-present themselves this year and the down ballot has nothing exciting for Dems.

It's been more than 30 years since a Rebublican has lost a statewide election in GA, and this year appears to be a more typical year.

That said, the polls are meaningless right about now and anyone doing victory dances due to March polling is just being naive. There's a lifetime to go in this election and both candidates are capable of the stiupidity to screw up an early lead.

The majority of the military has voted Republican for generations, it didn't start in 2020 with this idiot. Although you sure sound like you hope that civil war breaks out. Party of law and order my ass.

Using the same logic you used above with the typical Georgia election cycle for the past 30 years, the polls are a little more reliable this early because we haven't had to guess who the nominees will be and it's a rematch of the previous election. Both candidates are known quantities as it relates to the position they are seeking. And LOL if you think Joe Biden is the guy who will make that miracle comeback. The guy needs directions every time he leaves a stage.

When it's all said and done, Kamala Harris would have received more votes than Joe Biden will get. His refusal to step aside to allow someone younger to take over will be his legacy. He will forever live in Democrat lore for being the guy who allowed his ego to gift-wrap another Trump presidency.

Trump is up barely in the Real Clear Politics average of all of the polls in Pennsylvania. There is lots of ground left to cover and Trump will need to run as masterful a campaign as he did against Hillary in 2016. I'm still not convinced that Biden will be the Democratic Nominee. If Michelle Obama is convinced to step forward at the convention, I'd say all bets are off.

Did the military support Trump? Most of the polls just prior to the election in 2020 by military.com showed he was not getting the majority of military votes. Also, the more educated the soldier, the less likely they would be to support Trump.

Here is one of the stories, there are more.
This is active duty, you know the ones that are actually still serving.

I worked that senate election as a poll worker. Some of the Trump idiots that came out were embarrassingly stupid and confrontational. I decided working that year after the maga wack jobs scared off a lot of the older poll workers.
