First of all, no Gator is going to call OSU "Oregon." Second, calling a Gator a "Florida State" person is asking to get bitch slapped.

 

We have a tradition of a game week thread where posters are asked to say something nice about the state the opponent is from. e.g. " Say something nice about Oregon"

 

Your in luck, we don’t even know who our qb will be but he’s never taken a snap. Our defense was horrible before the opt outs start. What good players we do have will mostly opt out. We were as bad as we’ve been in 40 years before we lost a lot of talent. Here’s your chance to kick the snot out of us.

 

If we have decent quarterback played that is a possibility

 

Our walk on guys may have to find out where their helmet and shoulder pads are.

 

Those beaver boxes are pretty resilient

 

In case you haven't gotten all the counterpoints to your bullet points yet, I will summarize:

1) The third of our team (what is left for the bowl game) will be motivated.

2) The missing in action are too numerous to be meaningful to you.

3) Our QB play is rougher.

4) Our rush offense was brutal at times. However, you need a legitimate threat at QB to have a brutal rush offense in the SEC every week.

5) continued from 4): Unless your facing this SEC squad. In which case you usually get many yards and points regardless of your QB's quality.

6) Rush defense is mostly very porous. You should enjoy the game.

7) We are at the nadir of our experience in football since probation almost killed us.

8) Our coach is giving us hope for the future and excelled at his previous stop.

 

Sorry for the confusion, that thread is referencing the entire state, not Y’all as our opponent specifically. It’s a tradition here.

 

Ventrell Miller isn’t playing in the bowl game from what I’ve seen posted on another site.
Apparently it conflicts with his graduation ceremony. The post is from his social media account and seems legit.

 

Welcome! Even though you're new, you can add to that thread nicely with Oregon State ladies. Then we can all factually decide which team has the best . . . cheerleaders. LOL!
