meh. The coach ain't playing. UF needs to win for our resume. And it is Georgia. makes no difference who the coach is at their school.
Mike White is clearly capable of finishing with a winning record when he has a Final Four caliber roster.
The poster believes in combining football and basketball wins and losses for some vague, mysterious reason.
What would be better would be to post the Bulldogs hotel room phone numbers on the internet in Gainesville tonight. And encourage students to wish them an enjoyable visit at 2 AM. And 3 AM. And 4 AM.
We were never the same after blowing that lead to Duke in the Phil Knight tournament. It was like all of the mojo was sucked out of the program after that.
Mission accomplished! Florida is now 3-0 against Mike White's Georgia team: 1/27/24 (at UF): 102-98 OT, W 2/28/23 (at UG): 77-67, W 1/7/23 (at UF): 82-75, W This result today also extends Florida's winning streak against Georgia basketball to 9-games (2/5/20 to 1/27/24). The Gators are also winners of 10 of the last 11-games! Chomp! Chomp!
You are playing with tired players when they are playing as many minutes as they are. Golden has got to go to the bench and leave the players in the game for significant minutes. Nobody on Georgia's squad played over 36 minutes. Our 3 starting guards played 39, 41, and 42 minutes. Tired players don't play well. Get the bench players some minutes in the first half and let them get into the flow of the game.
If our starting guards were too tired, why did they take it to Georgia in overtime? Kugel was a big reason the big lead was lost. He had 3 possessions in a very short time that led to 0 points on our side of the court and 6-7 points on their end. 2 of them were turnovers leading to easy fast break points.
Stop confusing me with your facts! And by the way, Mr. Pullin was known for playing Iron Man minutes at UC-Riverside. He's a tough cat.
I have nothing against White but he's a mangy butt sniffer and he is on our leash where we can easily kick him, feels excellent!
Fortunately we own UGA in most sports other than football. Pre Kirby we owned UGA in football since Spurrier as well
