Reports are Beamer broke his foot kicking something after the loss to Florida. Maybe that bus he backed over his players wity in the post game ran over his foot? Who knows. This made me laugh out loud. Angry Beamer broke foot after S. Carolina loss
"Before anyone starts the narrative like the head football coach is frustrated and lost his poise and all that -- no, I care. I care about these kids, and I was really upset on Saturday night because I didn't do enough to help them get over the hump and win the football game," said Beamer, who guided the Gamecocks to winning records in each of his first two seasons. "It hurts like you-know-what, but I've got to show toughness and fight through it. Been one of those years." I’M DYING!! Hahaha
Someone posted something similar to this on another site so I can’t take credit. Has anyone checked on his defensive coordinator’s ass? His DC was later seen leaving the hospital with a broken tailbone.
What I want to know is this: why is he apologizing and trying to explain himself? Sissy. Almost every Saturday of my childhood in the sixties, my dad made me work in the yard. Games weren't on TV. He worked for GE and had THE transistor radio of that era, which was about the size of a hardbound bible, in a leather case. Everyone had them. He would stand the radio up in the yard, and listen to the gators, while we did our drudgery. The gators would mess up, and he would punt it. On two of his best punts, one landed in the across the street neighbor's yard; a year later, having improved his punting, it landed on their roof. He damn sure never apologized, or said don't do that. And the radio never broke.
They held our defensive players all over the field... all game long, and the ball spotters cheated us out of yards here and there, especially near the goal line/endzone. That was one of those games that even with "the cheat" on they lost... LMFAO! We beat the refs and USCe.
My high school football coach once taught us: "Boys, when you are at an away game, you got three teams on the field. 1. Your team 2. Your opponent and... 3. The Refs. You have to play so well that you take the refs outta the game. You literally take them out of the game."
I worked Saturday and only saw most of the first quarter. I saw a score where we were behind in the second half, I thought loss. later on the way home, I was listening to ESPN radio and they gave the final score. I was shocked and happy! I have watched the replay and what stood out to me was all the holding no calls. On the long replay of the long TD to put them ahead by ten late, you can’t missed the downfield holding call missed. Even the announcers didn’t even bring any words to the blatant missed holding. Also the dbs were holding our receivers nearly every play.
The cheat was on and we beat the cheat... However, we don't always beat the cheat. And what was fun about this game was that we ambushed USCe and the refs... The better team won. They could NOT deny the circus catches... during the most impossible downs in the game... to take that victory away from the Gators.
