Richard was never leaving. Clayton is a little trickier because he could some decent opportunities overseas with his game, but could make more money in a NIL deal at Florida, while still playing close to home for a high level program and working on his weak spots (shot creation for others, off ball defense).
And we already have skilled players backing up very good players. We also don’t have the hoops coffers that Arky and UK do.
yall are getting butt raped by Insurance companies, but you can blame your state govt for that. Bunch of clowns on one side of the isle letting it and helping it happen. One of the main reasons I wont move back down there
Has to be, personal state tax on income, $5+ gas, Homeless everywhere, crime is condoned, I could go on but the group behind the governor is fleecing their populace in so many ways, it is the reason for the great migration east. As for insurance in Florida, with hurricanes, it is hard for these companies to stay in the state of Florida. With people migrating there from NYC, Chicago, New Jersey, Pittsburg, Michigan, Ohio where they have been propped up by the citizens born there paying higher rates even if they don’t live on the coast, also Real Estate investment companies, from out of state, purchasing lots on the coast, building mega mansions, then insurance has to pay for annual hurricane damage. You could have self insured, but like so many others migrating to the Carolina coasts and Florida’s, the cost to live in harms way has now tried to stim losing money on these coastal properties in these states. This is what it takes to live in Florida, in California, they are in a eighty five billion dollar budget hole, just wait till the people that actually pay taxes there, have to cough up new taxes.
Not so fast. 100,000 plus greedy Floridians filed roof claims in 2021 (I believe this is correct). Total nonsense. That included a Gator and friend (BTW, he's an extreme on the left side of the aisle) who received a check for 82k for 10,000 worth of damage. Roofing Lawsuits Push FL Home Insurance to Brink – Policygenius I would love to buy a second home in FL but between the doubling of overpriced home values since 2020, HOA cost insanity, insurance cost insanity, traffic insanity and the temperature at 90 degrees at 9PM, I will pass for now. BTW, please don't move to Raleigh, Yankees. We chew too much tobacco and Barney Fife might arrest you.
I am sure he works in the Florida house or senate right? Anyways my fault for bringing politics into the forum and I apologize for that. But I sold insurance and I have relatives who have sold insurance in Florida for years. I was licensed for over 20 years and saw the changes that have cripled many Floridians. I still have most of my family who lives down there. I can only hope it gets better for that. Besides all the other crap.
by the way I know my facts, I see you want to try and make this personal..if you would like we can talk about it another way. Not on this forum
