Balance is a tricky one. For some it’s either you have that balance and coordination or you don’t. There are of course some great exercises and drills you can do to improve balance, I wonder if he’s tried some or any already or if there’s something untapped we can get him to work on in the off-season. Get Rioux on that program as well (even though he’s a LT project). Chinyelu certainly has the length and size to be disruptive on both ends. We shall see.
It’s dog eat dog here on NBN, unless there’s free beer involved. In which case we’ll always have your back
Watched a lot of Michigan State games. He wanted so badly to be that scoring point guard. He constantly held the ball too long, over dribbled, and went against Izzo and his coaching. Just not a guy we want in blue
Now that we're into May and both Clayton and Richard look like they're returning, is it now safe to say that we're a net positive in this year's transfer portal? There weren't any major surprises on the departure side (guys that weren't getting many minutes, Kugel's disappointing season, etc) and we've added 3 solid players. I think we've already won the transfer portal attrition/addition battle. We've somewhat but maybe not entirely filled the holes that Pullin and Samuel left behind, but i think we'll also get a developmental jump from Condo, Haugh, Aberdeen and perhaps Clayton and Richard too...so in the end, I think we have a decent chance, even with 1-2 roster spots left unknown, to be better than last year. All that depends on whether we gain more defensively than we lose offensively. On paper it would seem that way, as long as Condo and Haugh develop more offensively and Chinleyu and/or Alexis can at least chip in with the occasional alleyoop or put-back. Can't wait to see who we add next. Have a feeling Golden will pull another rabbit out of the hat fairly soon
