Hot off the press! UF working on Kentucky C Aaron Bradshaw...trying to schedule a visit. He was the #1 C in high school last year and overall #4 in the class. His numbers were decent for a true freshman...averaged 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds on 57.6 percent shooting from the field.
Former FAU guard Alijah Martin is set to officially visit Florida from Friday to Sunday...averaged 13.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 41.4 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from 3-point range in his final season at FAU. Grad transfer...would have 1 year left. Todd is not playing around.
Man, I knew portal activity would start jumping after the dead period, but today has been crazy. Bradshaw makes a lot of sense--7 footer who protects the rim, finishes in the paint, and rebounds well offensively. So, basically Handlogten. Martin is intriguing, but I don't know how he fits. Kinda like Pope (but for very different reasons), he is a little redundant with Clayton. He was a pretty good perimeter shooter before last year, he is a bulldog for a guard on the glass and defensively, and he scores pretty efficiently in the paint/mid-range. But he is not a primary ballhandler at all and I can't see him at the point for us. Not sure how we fits with Clayton.
Yep. Hearing different things there, but I am willing to bet he opens it up wider again. Hope not, though!
Bradshaw hit a dagger 3 against us in Gainesville. I think it would be a big plus to him to develop that skill.
