Tampa and Glover is probably the greatest love story ever told. I’m not crying… who’s cutting all these damn onions in here.
Here is a link to Eric's article on this forum on potential transfer guards. What do you think are our chances of landing one and which would you prefer? Transfer Portal Guards To Keep An Eye On | GatorCountry.com
Chris Chiozza left the country. I had to turn somewhere. I had many a battle with the tiddlywink players on here who refused to acknowledge that Cheese was a better player than Kasey Hill.
It’s cool… I had a similar one-sided bromance with Tim Tebow. I was still hoping for a comeback until about 2 weeks ago. That man will never know how much I defended him.
Thank the lord. You were determined to make this thread about a guy who has nothing to do with being a portal player at this point. Go celebrate him on a separate thread that you create. I’m sure you will lure some people in to take your bait.
I can already see the Lifetime Christmas movie. Glover goes back to his hometown to recover from surgery and guess who ends up being his rehab therapist.

Man. TG just gets it. This is almost a dream list for filling our needs. Like exactly what I was dreaming up thinking about how our team could not only reload, but be better next year. PG? Check. Big-big rim protector type forwards to supplement our finesse ones? Yup. A forward who projects to be able to play all 3 forward positions, including even a stretch 3 point shooting wing? Yup.
^ One thing I like about both Alexis and Williams is that they defend/rebound well without fouling. Alexis was at a 4.4 rate per 100 possessions (next best among our bigs was Samuel at 5.1). Williams was even better at 3.7, which would have been lower than everyone in our rotation besides Pullin and Richard.
While I loved the offensive display we had this past season, I would greatly appreciate us adding some defensive experts.
Omoruyi from Rutgers found a bit more (5.7), but he produces against much better competition. Roughly similar block and rebound rates against a + 8 SOS (-3 for the other guys).
Hard to say. Sounds like we are after two post players. Depends on how well the staff thinks they complement each other. Alexis shoots a little, but not well. Can one of them be a legit low post threat? Can one of them move his feet well enough in space defend on the perimeter? I just haven’t seen much of either outside of highlights.
So if Kentucky loses some players...Id like to see us get Zvonimir Ivisic if we dont replace Micah with a polished Center
One thing not mentioned in that article...eligibility on those 3 players. Looks like 2 of them are one-year-left?
I think we'd be after Ugonna Onyenso first. Dude is a beast on defense. Ivisic got beat way too many times defensively. He was almost unplayable because of how bad he was.
