Baseball vs. UNF, Tue 3/14, 6:00 pm

Number one goal at this point is for every single one of our players to push themselves to play up to the Gators Baseball standards….

And do so with pride, conviction, and confidence.

 

Fielding percentage is up to .975, ERA down to 4.77, BA at .352.

 

Last year our fielding ended at .981 but in SEC play our fielding was .978. I hope when conference play starts we can still improve on these errors a little more.

 

If I am reading last year's stats correctly, our ending BA was .273. Can't tell what it was heading into SEC play. Gotta believe it was not as high as this year.

I think (hope) maybe the errors will settle down a bit as some players get more comfortable with their positions.

 

Half of the errors are from Pitcher, Catcher and OF as opposed to infielder errors.

Hope he brings his Rattler stuff.

 

Fabian starting in LF, Evans in RF, Halter at 3B, Lastres behind the plate. Interesting.
